Welcome to the new Rotary year! As we look ahead at new responsibilities, new challenges, and new opportunities let’s keep Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith’s “3 B’s – Bigger, Better, Bolder” imbedded in everything we are about to do! As Rotarians, we are not content to let matters stay the way they have always been whether in our communities or in our clubs.
It is time for you and I to begin our year of service to the clubs in District 5320 with a new sense of excitement, inspiration and Fun. Check out the new District website. You will find a lot of new and interesting items such as, links to Rotary International, YouTube, Twitter, and what’s happening in the clubs.
Of course any New Year starts with New Year’s Resolutions, or Goals! Every club president has shared their goals and I have put them together to create goals for the District. Take a look on our website under “District 5320″ or just click here! Yes, these are some ambitious goals and with your help I have no doubt they will be accomplished.
The world is a better place because of Rotary, because of you. What has been accomplished in this District and what is planned to be accomplished this coming year is awe inspiring. When asked by your club President to give or participate don’t look to the Rotarian next to you – Look to your heart. No District has Rotarians with bigger hearts than District 5320.
The District Team is here to serve. Call on us when you need us. We are all Rotarians working together “Building Communities – Bridging Continents”.
