Preparing for the Rotary Club Competition
The preliminary competition will take place at the local Rotary club level. Each club is responsible for selecting the candidates it wishes to nominate. Semi-finalists must be nominated by a Rotary Club in District 5320.
- Contact local high school principals, music or drama teachers, church youth choir directors or private voice teachers in your area for names of possible candidates AND
- Schedule a club program/competition with judges from high schools, local voice teachers, church youth directors, youth choir directors or club members
- Nominate one contestant for each category or more if the quality of the performers warrants more than one nomination within the category. There is no maximum number of contestants that may be entered by any one Rotary club. HOWEVER, a $50 fee must accompany each additional nominee within each category.
