Roy Jefferson

Originally from Memphis, Tn, Roy has been a member of the Anaheim Hills Rotary club since 1992, and served as club president in 95-96, and as recently as 2019-20. The club was selected as the Best Small Club during that year, received the Presidential Citation and a Rotary Citation for Membership Development. During his years as a member of District 5320, he has served as an Assistant Governor several times, District Club Service  chair, District Membership chair, District Conference chair, Foundation Dinner chair, Executive Assistant to the District Governor Johrita Solari; and has served on the District Nominating Committee and District Advisory Board. He even had the honor of representing our district on the Rotary Rose Parade Float in 2011.  Roy is “all in” on Rotary.

 

Roy is a State Farm insurance agent, with an office in Anaheim Hills for 39 years.

 

Roy is married to his lovely wife, Janice, who has helped him and his club with many projects and fundraisers over the years. Janice also volunteers as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for kids in Foster care for the past 14 years and was voted Orange County CASA of the year in 2016.

 

Janice and Roy have a son, Christopher, who is an Emergency Medical helicopter pilot, who lives in Texas; and a daughter Joanna, who owns a dental office in Irvine. Joanna was in Interact and RYLA when she was at Canyon HS.

 

Roy is an avid golfer. He and Janice enjoy attending professional sporting events, traveling and spending time with friends and lots of family here in Orange County. They’re both looking forward to continuing to serve and to this new adventure.
