Lindsay Whiddon, District Administrator
Lindsay comes to Rotary with a diverse background in the nonprofit sector. Prior to her District Administrator role, she served as the Executive Director of a grassroots organization that addressed the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in rural communities in East Africa. Early in her career and as part of that organization, she was also able to focus on issues including maternal health, youth leadership, education, clean water, and economic development—many of the very same areas of focus that Rotary International is committed to.
Lindsay graduated from UCLA. She remains a tried and true Bruin fan, and lives in Villa Park with her husband Jonathan and their three young children. Lindsay and Jonathan value volunteerism and being active members of their community. They both dedicate significant time serving in different leadership and board roles including at their local elementary school, church, Little League and other youth sports organizations, and women’s groups. She also tries to sneak in time for cooking, fitness, and outdoor activities as much as possible. Lindsay enjoys the opportunity to be part of Rotary’s profound impact–both globally and locally, as well as supporting the work of District 5320’s clubs in productive and meaningful ways.
