
Heidi Larkin-Reed
District Governor Nominee, 2027-2028
Heidi Larkin-Reed became a member of Rotary in 1988, joining the Rotary Club of Apple Valley, CA with the classification of Non-Profit Management. She was the first woman President of the club in 1997-98.
After moving to Orange County, she joined the Rotary Club of Mission Viejo and served on various club committees.
After a few years working for the South Orange County Regional Chamber of Commerce, she accepted the position as President/CEO of the Orange Chamber of Commerce. She soon became a member of the Rotary Club of Orange. After serving on the Board of Directors, she was asked to serve as President of the Club in 2013-14.
After retirement, she re-joined the Rotary Club of Mission Viejo, serving on the Board of Directors for the club and the foundation along with several club committees.
She has served at Chief of Staff for two District 5320 Governors, the Chair of the District’s Finance Committee, the Foundation Gala Chair (twice), the District Conference Chair (twice), the Advisory Board, the Nominating Committee (twice), Assistant Governor (twice) and was awarded the District’s Rotarian of the Year in 2019-20.
FIVE FUN FACTS
1. Heidi served on the Incorporation Committee for the Town of Apple Valley and was elected to the Apple Valley city council and served as the first woman mayor.
2. Heidi holds an IOM from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and is certified in Non-Profit Management.
3. She keeps fit by working out with a personal trainer.
4. Heidi has two children and five grandchildren.
5. She has attended ten Rotary International Conventions including Glasgow, Scotland, Indianapolis, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, Sydney, Atlanta, Hamburg, and Calgary.
