June is Rotary Fellowship Month

News

As we embrace the month of June, Rotary Fellowship Month, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible bonds of friendship and connection that define our Rotary experience.

For those who joined us at the Rotary International Convention in Calgary, you know firsthand the joy of fellowship shared with Rotarians from every corner of the globe. It was truly inspiring to witness our shared values in action and to experience the warmth, hospitality, and unity of purpose that transcend borders and languages. These are the moments that remind us why Rotary is not just an organization, but a global family.

Throughout this Rotary year, I have had the distinct honor and privilege of visiting clubs across District 5320, meeting dedicated Rotarians who exemplify “Service Above Self” in countless ways. Whether through local service projects, international partnerships, youth programs, or foundation giving, your commitment has been the heartbeat of our District.

Thank you for your unwavering support, your tireless service, and your enduring spirit of fellowship. You have made this Rotary year one of energy, impact, and inspiration. I am deeply grateful to each of you for the privilege of serving as your District Governor. It has been one of the great honors of my life.

As we conclude this Rotary year and look forward to an extremely bright future under the outstanding leadership of incoming Governor Craig Livingston and his team, let us celebrate our friendships, reflect on our accomplishments, and look forward with optimism to the new opportunities that await. Rotary Fellowship Month is a perfect time to reach out to fellow members, share a story, relive a moment, and renew our commitment to this remarkable journey we share together.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Chris Skorina
District Governor, 2024-2025
