What is Rotaract?

Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities like yours.

Rotaract members decide how to organize and run their clubs, manage their own funds, and plan and carry out activities and service projects. Rotary club sponsors offer guidance and support and work with your club as partners in service.

Assist in organizing Interact clubs or mentor Interactors
Participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
Become Rotary Foundation Scholars or Vocational Training Team members
Seek membership in their local Rotary club.

RYLA is a multidimensional leadership retreat. Students participate in activities and discussions focusing on the top skills employers and universities are looking for today and in the future. RYLA teaches respect for differences, including personality, character, and ethics. To increase self-awareness, the RYLA program incorporates communication, critical thinking, and creativity throughout all activities. Engaging daily activities are designed to encourage problem-solving, adaptability, teamwork, collaboration, and more! Additionally, throughout the retreat, RYLA intentionally incorporates social and emotional elements to help students feel free to be their best selves and the change the world needs!

Rotaractors are needed for RYLA 2022! Rotaractors are mentors that attend the RYLA retreat and lead a variety of activities for the students. If you are a Rotaractor and would like to volunteer, please reach out to Mike Darnold at darnoldmike@gmail.com.
